Kids Cooking Classes Adelaide

Due to popular demand we are running a Sushi Making Workshop with renowned Shiki Restaurant Chef Yukiko Anschutz. Strictly for kids aged over 11 due to the staff supervision required.
The kids will enjoy a fun, hands on class learning to make basic popular Sushi including making the tasty sushi egg omelette in a square frying pan together.


The class will run for 3hours and all participants will get a take away Sushi pack to take home plus will enjoy tasting their own Sushi during the class.
Banana fritter with orange syrup will also be served as a complimentary dessert.
Price includes all ingredients, tuition and complimentary fruit juice and water during the break plus recipes to take home.
Please note we cannot cater for allergies and vegetarian diets in this class. The menu will include a range of gluten products, seafood and our premises and utensils contain traces of nuts. Please do not enrol your child unless they like sushi!

Cooking School Chef Required-Asian/Middle Eastern Cuisine

The Sticky Rice Cooking School is an inspiring new place offering customers ‘real’ hands on cooking classes with talented and adventurous chefs.
We are now looking to offer the right person a fantastic opportunity to join the Sticky Rice team on a regular basis as our chief SA teacher and are looking for a chef who has a passion for Asian cuisine and who is well versed at talking about it!
The successful applicant will be chef qualified and have extensive experience in Asian cuisine. They should be knowledgeable about all aspects of the cuisine and be able to deliver 4 hourly hands on classes to groups of 18. Some training can be provided with regards to managing a cooking school class.
This role will suit someone who has an outgoing personality and who has the communication skills to carry off this lead role in a social and recreational situation. Those applicants who can share their experiences of travelling in Asia would have the added advantage of delivering customers with knowledge about the regional produce, customs and cultural influences of the food.
This really is a position that will raise your profile due to media coverage and regional promotion of the cooking school, and you will be working in excellent and inspiring surrounds in the newly installed kitchen facilities and renovated building. Excellent rates are offered and we are eager to secure someone who has a long term commitment to the position.
